From Naps to Snaps: Family Mini Session at Life Under the Oaks Lavender Farm

Oh my goodness, gems! I can’t wait to share photos of all the amazing families who took part in my lavender mini sessions this year! Every single mini session was so whimsical that I couldn’t help but grin from ear to ear. Amanda, her husband Byre, and Abby, their little bundle of sweetness, were definitely stars during their family pictures in lavender fields!

You won’t believe how this trio managed to capture some truly magical moments, even when Abby decided to skip the smiles after her nap. Take a look!

Life Under the Oaks Lavender Field in beautiful Oracle, AZ, is such a gorgeous location. With the lavender in full bloom, it doesn’t even look like Arizona. There aren’t a lot of places around here that don’t have that desert charm. So, if you’re someone who wants to opt for some more greenery, you’ll definitely appreciate these family pictures in lavender fields.

Imagine stepping into the equivalent of a fairytale, where the air is filled with the heavenly scent of lavender and vibrant blooms dance in the breeze. That’s exactly what Life Under the Oaks Lavender Field in Oracle, AZ offers. This slice of paradise really set the stage for Amanda, Byrde, and Abby’s family mini session.

With hues of purple stretching as far as the eye can see, the scene was straight out of a dream. The picturesque charm of the lavender field went above and beyond all of our expectations.

Amanda is such a ray of sunshine with a golden heart, and Byrde is a laugh and a half! He cracked so many amazing jokes to try to get Abby, their adorable little munchkin, to smile. She decided that smiles were optional today, but that was okay. We still ended up with precious photos of the family.

This photo session wasn’t just about pretty pictures, though! It was a celebration of Abby’s upcoming birthday. Even though she had just awakened from her nap and practically declared a no-smiling policy, her irresistible charm couldn’t be contained. The way Amanda and Byrde interacted with their little one was nothing short of magical. Their love and devotion radiated from every frame, capturing the essence of their family dynamic in its purest form.

And then again, who says you have to force a smile to capture joy? Certainly not me! The decision to embrace Abby’s no-smile stance added an unexpected twist that resulted in breathtakingly genuine moments.
