My 14-year-old Shiba, Chavo, and our newest addition, Jedi. Chavo is the wise old soul, while Jedi is the playful newcomer keeping us on our toes. Both are in charge of (treat) quality control.
My 10 and 7-year-old munchkins. One loves chess, the other is all about art. Both professional snugglers. They keep me grounded and remind me why capturing life’s little moments matters.
My husband, best friend, and biggest supporter. A die-hard Dave Matthews Band fan and proud U of A supporter. Also the best dad and my go-to for a reality check when I have too many ideas.

Nothing makes me happier than spending time with the people I love. I value friendships and the bonds of family more than almost anything else, and I love celebrating the special people in my life!
So many of my Gems – former clients – have become true friends. It's one of my favorite parts of this job!
Spending time with loved ones
I might be a little old school, but there’s nothing better than opening a handwritten note from a friend, client, or loved one. There’s just something about seeing words on paper that feels more intentional, more personal, and more lasting.
Email is convenient, but handwritten notes? They’re like little time capsules of kindness. The only thing better would be if they arrived by owl, Harry Potter style!
