I’m so excited to share this Tucson engagement session with you today! When Amanda and Robert reached out about the location for their engagement photos, I couldn’t wait to work with them! There’s something so special about Tohono Chul engagement sessions. It’s almost as if you’re transported to a different world with minor signs of being in the Sonoran Desert.
When I first chatted with Amanda and Robert via zoom, I noticed right away that they were both so kind and had beautiful smiles. As we started to plan their engagement session, they opted for Tohono Chul, and I was ecstatic! I was a bit concerned about the weather since it had been cold the days before, but on this day it was PERFECT. The Tucson weather was showing off, and even though Robert lost his wallet (he did find it later on) and I may have gotten us lost (don’t let me talk and lead, haha), the pictures we were able to capture were magical.
Amanda mentioned having seen some pictures in front of a door, and with a little bit of googling and walking around before their arrival, not only did I find the door he was looking for, but I found TWO! Amanda and Robert are bookworms, so of course, we had to incorporate their favorite on into their session. At first, Amanda gave me total Cinderella vibes with her baby blue dress, but she quickly transformed into Belle while holding the book.
Enjoy this little peek into this sweet Tohono Chul Engagement Session.

Amanda and Robert, thank you so much for allowing me to capture these precious memories for you! You’re both so kind and sweet, and it was great getting to know you guys better. I can’t wait to see you on your big day next year! Please give some cuddles to the kitties.

You hired a photographer. You cried when you saw the gallery. You downloaded the files. And then six months later you realized you still have not printed a single photo. Sound familiar? You are not alone and it is exactly why I talk to every single family about ordering a printed photo album before the […]

My son turns 11 today Eleven. I honestly do not know how that happened. During COVID, when the world had completely stopped and we were all just home together with nowhere to go and nothing to do, I took his portrait. He was little. He had that look on his face that only kids have, […]

Okay, real talk. If you’ve been stress-cleaning every corner of your house before your Tucson lifestyle family session, I need you to stop. Not because I don’t appreciate a tidy space, but because you’re probably focused on all the wrong things. So let me tell you what I’m actually looking for when I walk into […]
