Tucson Botanical Gardens Wedding | Amanda and Robert

filed under

When Amanda and Robert first locked eyes, they never could have imagined the beautiful adventure they were about to begin together. They certainly wouldn’t have guessed that someday they’d be saying “I do” during a spectacular Tucson Botanical Gardens wedding celebration! But on a bright April day, Amanda and Robert’s family and friends gathered together to celebrate the beginning of their new life together as husband and wife. And this Tucson wedding photographer is beyond thrilled she landed an invite to document it all!

The afternoon was downright bursting with joy and laughter. While the groom and his groomsmen patiently waited as the beautiful floral arch was created, the bride looked spectacular with her flawless hair and makeup. And when the last boutonniere was pinned, and the wedding gown was on, we headed off to a first look, wedding party pictures, and family portraits. Beautifully surrounded by flowers and greenery, the Tucson Botanical Gardens wedding ceremony venue took our breath away. But nothing could compare to Amanda’s radiance when she walked down the aisle. The look on Robert’s face when he saw her was unforgettable!

I was amazed by the beautiful scenery all the vendors painted with their talented work! From the ethereal floral arrangements created by Posh Petals to the beautiful cake crafted by Village Bakehouse, I couldn’t help but photograph every last detail! One of the things I love most about weddings is documenting the delicate details a couple has hidden throughout the day. For example, on Amanda and Robert’s wedding day, I loved how they incorporated a fern (it has been in her family for four generations) into her bouquet. Not to mention, they also had macaroons as favors and donuts for everyone!

But the uniqueness of their celebration didn’t end there! Amanda and Robert had a bouquet toss that was open to everyone, not just women! And when Hans cranked up the music and the guests flooded the dance floor, I knew the dancing would continue for hours.

As the party drew to a close, the guests lined up with ribbons and bells. Soon the newlyweds ran off into the night to begin their life together as husband and wife. I am so grateful I was able to document this Tucson Botanical Garden wedding day in all its magnificence. Congratulations, Amanda and Robert, on the first day of your new life together! I can’t wait to see you (and perhaps some cough drop wrappers) again soon!

I’d also like to give a special shoutout to Jessica and Amanda (not the bride) from J Robertson Events! They helped bring this wedding to life and everything looked perfect.
