As a Tucson family photographer, I’ve explored endless incredible locations for photo sessions. Tucson has it all, from the seasonal spots, like cotton fields to the enchanting Sonoran desert! But when the Noperi’s told me they wanted to explore a desert scene, I knew exactly where to take them for the session of their dreams. We had to plan a Sweetwater Preserve Trailhead family photography session!
One of my favorite things about Sweetwater Trailhead is that it’s dog and horse friendly. I happened to drive nearby and saw the ethereal sunset. I knew right away that I had to bring a family and my camera here ASAP! And this cacti, flower-filled spot, especially in the spring, was the perfect backdrop for the Noperi family!
The golden backlight during our Sweetwater Trailhead family session gave the whole session a romantic feel. Stephanie and Felipe looked so at home in the desert, and their son’s eyes filled with delight the moment they arrived!
I also loved the way they dressed to complement the location perfectly. I always advise families to look up images of their session location to ensure perfect color choices, and this crew chose wisely! Choosing a color palette isn’t an easy task. So I never get tired of helping families build the perfect wardrobe for their sessions. For our Sweetwater Trailhead family photography session, they went with emerald green, golden yellow, and navy. So, if you’re considering a family session of your own, but are nervous about what to wear, don’t let that stop you from booking! I promise, with my help, it will be easy and effortless!
