The wedding venue is one of the biggest decisions you’ll make when planning your wedding, but if you’re thinking about the Tucson area, maybe I can help narrow down your options! I highly recommend checking out the Stillwell House during your search. This historic mansion is magazine-worthy and perfect for small and intimate weddings.
I can sing the praises of the Stillwell House all day long because I had the opportunity to shoot there with Sydney and her husband on a styled wedding photography session. This place had everything and more, from a courtyard to luscious green gardens, pretty enough to give me chills.
But it definitely couldn’t have happened without Sydney and her husband! These two are such an adorable couple on so many levels. They had great energy and chemistry, which was the cherry on top.
Also, Sydney looked like a queen! Stormi Pro Beauty did her hair and makeup, and her dress was from J Bridal Boutique, designed by Evalendel. But we didn’t stop there! Her Louboutin shoes added the perfect touch of glamour, and the earrings from Haute Bride tied the whole look together.
I would die for her accessories, particularly the lace gloves decorated with little pearls from Untamed Petals.
In turn, the groom looked so sharp in his attire from Tuxedos on Broadway. Suits in shades of blue are so in-style at the moment, and this navy shade was a sweet and subtle nod to the trend.
But it wasn’t just us putting this shoot together! This event was organized by the talented team at Crain and Co Events along with Torey Photo and Mary Gawne. It takes so much work to style an event like this, and they went above and beyond. Every tiny detail was expertly curated.
No bridal session is complete without flowers, and Bloom Maven delivered! These flower arrangements had such a warm, playful color scheme. Complete with shades of orange and yellow, these flowers added the pop of color we needed to tie the whole photoshoot together!
One of the challenges we faced was the bright sun, but with my expertise, I was able to create beautiful images regardless of the lighting conditions. This meant fiddling with my camera settings a little bit just to make sure no one was overexposed. We also found little alcoves of shade amongst the architecture of the Stillwell House, and in the end, all went well.
The table settings were beyond amazing! The minimalist furniture in the courtyard was provided by Frenchy’s Rentals, and the menus were designed by Brie Dumais Designs. The cake looked almost too good to eat! Amber from Her Elegant Design really outdid herself.
Truly, this styled wedding shoot was something special, and it was a pleasure working with such a talented team. If you’re in Tucson and are searching for a beautiful wedding venue, the Stillwell House should definitely be on your list of places to check out.

If you’ve ever had a dog, you know they’re more than just pets—they’re family. They see you at your best and your worst and love you through it all. That was my sweet Chipis, my stubborn, adventurous, and fiercely loyal Shiba Inu. Saying goodbye to her this past month was one of the hardest things […]
During a vibrant photo session at Sweetwater Wetlands Park, the Latorre family, including twins and a younger brother, embraced the outdoors, allowing their natural interactions to shine through in every capture. The park’s lush scenery and serene atmosphere paired with the family’s soft-toned outfits offered a perfect setting. Despite some challenges with sunlight, the photographer’s skill ensured beautiful results, capturing genuine, joyful moments that the family will cherish as memories.
In Oro Valley, Arizona, a family photographer captured a magical session against the stunning backdrop of the Sonoran Desert and Catalina Mountains during twilight’s blue hour. The family’s close bond and synchronized outfits complemented the natural scenery, yielding photographs rich with moments of joy, love, and connection. The session highlighted the enduring beauty of the desert and the timeless essence of family ties, offering a sanctuary for creating and preserving cherished memories.
