Buttes at Reflections Disney Wedding | Angie & Juan

When Angie and Juan first locked eyes, they never could have imagined the magical adventure they were about to begin together. They certainly wouldn’t have guessed that someday they’d be saying “I do” during a breathtaking St. Augustine Cathedral wedding followed by a celebration at the Buttes at Reflections! But on a radiant yet rainy summer day, Angie and Juan’s family and friends gathered together to celebrate the beginning of their new life together as husband and wife. And this Tucson wedding photographer is thrilled she got an invite to document it all!

The morning was downright bursting with joy and laughter. Decked out in matching robes, the bride and her bridesmaids were helping each other zip up their dresses and put on their jewelry. Meanwhile, the groom and his groomsmen cheered in their customized beer glasses. And when the last boutonniere was pinned, and the last curl was sprayed, we all headed off to the ceremony venue. Beautifully decorated with blue ribbons, the St. Augustine Cathedral wedding ceremony took our breath away. But nothing could compare to Angie’s radiance when she walked down the aisle. The look on Juan’s face when he saw her was unforgettable!

I was so amazed by the beautiful scenery all the vendors painted with their talented work! From the long-lasting floral arrangements created by an Etsy shop to the enchanting cake crafted by Nadine’s Bakery, I couldn’t help but photograph every last detail! One of the things I love most about weddings is documenting the delicate details a couple has hidden throughout the day. I loved how they incorporated Beauty and the Beast into so many details throughout the reception space on Angie and Juan’s wedding day.

But the uniqueness of their celebration didn’t end there! Before we could enjoy the reception, we were surprised by a severe thunderstorm RIGHT ABOVE the Buttes at Reflections! We had to wait it out in our cars for about 30 minutes, but we were rewarded with gorgeous sunlight just in time for sunset and family photos.

And when DJ Obi cranked up the music and introduced the bridal party, I could not stop laughing at the groomsmen’s superhero entrances!

As the party drew to a close, the guests gave their last hugs to the newlyweds before they ran off into the night to begin their life together as husband and wife. I am so grateful I was able to document this Buttes at Reflections wedding day and it’s a celebration I’ll never forget! Congratulations, Angie and Juan, on the first day of your new life together! I can’t wait to see you again soon!
