I’m so excited to share this Arizona family session with you today! When the Dragon-Soto Family reached out about updating their family photos, I couldn’t wait to work with them! As an Arizona family photographer, there’s something so special about updating family pictures. Not to mention, we’re related, and they were my first ever wedding.
While talking about locations for her family session, we decided to drive out to Sonoita, Arizona. We were so fortunate to have the perfect weather the entire time. Despite encountering a baby rattlesnake within the first 5 minutes, we went in the other direction, and no one was hurt.
I hadn’t seen my nephews in forever, and I couldn’t believe how grown they were. Of course, good looks run in the family if I say so myself, but see for yourself!

After taking a few portraits, we noticed that the sky started to show off and Jason asked for a picture of him throwing Natalie up into the air. We’re not sure how she felt about it… we do. She wasn’t very happy.

Soon after, something magical happened. The moon decided to make an appearance! Overall, it was the perfect day for an Arizona Family Photographer to drive out and capture some magic.

Of course, the boys were being, well… BOYS!

A few weeks later, we much up again at a private location to capture pictures of the ENTIRE family together.

To my cousin, Imelda, and Dragon-Soto Family, thank you so much for allowing me to capture these precious memories for you! I love you guys so much, and it was great seeing you after what feels like forever. I can’t wait to see you all very soon!
You hired a photographer. You cried when you saw the gallery. You downloaded the files. And then six months later you realized you still have not printed a single photo. Sound familiar? You are not alone and it is exactly why I talk to every single family about ordering a printed photo album before the […]

My son turns 11 today Eleven. I honestly do not know how that happened. During COVID, when the world had completely stopped and we were all just home together with nowhere to go and nothing to do, I took his portrait. He was little. He had that look on his face that only kids have, […]

Okay, real talk. If you’ve been stress-cleaning every corner of your house before your Tucson lifestyle family session, I need you to stop. Not because I don’t appreciate a tidy space, but because you’re probably focused on all the wrong things. So let me tell you what I’m actually looking for when I walk into […]
