Ileana and Carlo were ready to party hard at Westin La Paloma on their wedding day! As high school sweethearts and long-time friends, Ileana and Carlo are a testament that true love is forever. They celebrated every step of the way!

So much planning went into this day, and it shows. Ileana and Carlo were very concerned about their guests having the best time possible, so they structured their day accordingly! The wedding happened at the Westin La Paloma, a resort and spa in Tucson, AZ.
When Ileana walked out in her gorgeous dress for their first look, Carlo couldn’t help but gasp and hold her in his arms. Her dress from J Bridal Boutique was definitely the perfect one for her! I can’t imagine how many dresses she had to get through to pick something as special as this. The effect was perfect!

The ladies didn’t realize how long hair and makeup would take, so the bridesmaids weren’t ready until just a few minutes before the ceremony was supposed to start. So I used the time wisely and took some quick wedding party portraits while we waited.

Carlo was surprised by his mom with a very special gift. I loved one was not able to celebrate with them, but she was there right on his heart. Ileana also had a special heirloom attached to her wedding bouquet, which made it that much more special. It was a very emotional moment that I know will never be forgotten.

The bridesmaids held white bouquets and groomsmen wore white boutonnieres to match. They provided the perfect pop of color against their classic black attire. Ileana and Carlo requested that guests wear black outfits to the wedding on their black and white invitations. It was a request I completely adored since I love wearing black myself.

She was so stunning beyond words and looked so elegant and classy. But, of course, Ileana wore the look instead of the look wearing her. And, as they said in Annie, “you’re never fully dressed without a smile!” And Ileana and Carlo had smiles for days.

Ileana looked amazing from any angle. Her retro waves looked perfect all day, and her white bouquet wasn’t too cumbersome as a companion for photos. It would be hard to upstage the bride and groom but check out their dog in her harness! She came pretty close!

Their precious dog was the ring bearer, adding extra sweetness to the ceremony. Then, surrounded by classic white blossoms by Celebrations By Silvia, Ileana and Carlo finally tied the knot. The whole room erupted in cheers and applause!

After the ceremony, the PMX Event Group turned up the music, and the party really got started! Soon, everyone drank and danced, making the most of every second. I documented every second of the fun!

My son turns 11 today Eleven. I honestly do not know how that happened. During COVID, when the world had completely stopped and we were all just home together with nowhere to go and nothing to do, I took his portrait. He was little. He had that look on his face that only kids have, […]
