As a destination engagement photographer, my goal is to explore romantic and non-desert locations for photo sessions with incredible couples. Sometimes the locations are the standout of a session, and sometimes the couples easily steal the spotlight. But a location and a couple fit together so flawlessly every now and then that it feels like magic! After a glance at Viviana and Nabil’s photos, you’ll undoubtedly agree that their Santa Barbara engagement session was one of those breathtaking treats!
Viviana and Nabil met in 2019 through Bumble and gradually fell in love. For Nabil, it was the moment he witnessed Viviana singing karaoke at a family house party. But on their first date, after sharing artichoke dip and Viviana confessing she is lactose intolerant, I bet they didn’t imagine they’d someday be laughing and making out during a Santa Barbara beach engagement session with their wedding day on the horizon! And from everything they’ve told me about the celebrations they’re planning, it will take everyone’s breath away! Tiny hint: they are having not one but TWO wedding celebrations! I can’t wait to see it all come to life!
The pair mentioned a few locations they wanted to go to. And after consulting my good friend Google, I could NOT wait for this day to come! They wanted movement and emotions with beautiful backdrops, and we captured just that! When it comes to engagement sessions, the most important thing I can do as your photographer is create the images of your dreams that bring your personalities to life, so delivering on these wishes is so rewarding!
But let’s be honest. How could the images be anything less than stunning with a pair like this one in front of the lens!
Whether these images become the save the dates on the fridges of their loved ones or just the art decorating their future home, I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to capture Viviana and Nabil’s love story during a fun-filled Santa Barbara engagement session.
