You had the wedding, opened the presents, went on a honeymoon, and came back to reality. Then what? No matter what stage you’re in, engaged, newlywed, or 15 years into marriage, it’s essential to spend time with each other without other friends, kids, or coworkers. So here are our five favorite Tucson date night ideas that we always enjoy and look forward to.
I know, I know. We’re not in high school anymore. But after a long day at work, running errands, and raising kids, we love going to the movie theater. You get to sit down (or lay down) and relax. Some might say that you don’t get to have a conversation during a movie, but I think it won’t make a difference at this point in the relationship. The point is to spend time together. I don’t know about you, but when we watch a movie, I won’t shut up about it the second it’s over.
Now and then, we like to go back and redo our first date. For us, it was simple. We met up for coffee. Scratch that. He picked me up! We chatted for about an hour or two and then went to dinner. The funny part is that we weren’t alone for that first dinner date (I’ll share the story in another post if you’d like), but now we go alone!
We love Topgolf! I will be the first to admit that I am not good at golfing. But it is also part of the fun! We don’t do it very often, and we get a few laughs from it. They also have delicious drinks, and Topgolf is the way to go if you’re into appetizers!
We both enjoy watching sports. We are big UArizona fans, and now and then, we treat ourselves and watch a game. We used to go all the time, but now we decided to make it unique and turn it into date night.
Timeless and delicious. Going to dinner or any meal is always one of our favorite date ideas. We get to eat delicious food, have conversations, and enjoy each other’s company. Every now and then, we try to add in a concert or a show, but when that’s not in our plans, going to one of my favorite Mexican restaurants is always a great idea.
Tohono Chul Botanical Gardens is one of my all-time favorite places to bring clients for photography sessions. If you’re on the fence about where to have your photo session, this is a great option to choose! Here’s why Tohono Chul should be at the top of your photo shoot list. Hey, Gems! Are you still looking for the perfect place to capture your family pictures in Tucson? I totally get it. Choosing a location is one of the most important parts of planning your session. One of the things I get asked the most when it comes to engagement and family sessions is, “What should I wear?!” The answer is a lot simpler than you think. You should wear something you feel comfortable in. I know, I know. But that’s not the answer you’re looking for, so instead of going […]
